U.S. PETITION TO END IRISH PARTITION
WASHINGTON. June 9. The United States held the power merely by the application of economic sanctions to require that England should discontinue “the wrong which she is inflicting upon Ireland,’’ declares a petition presented to Congress today and signed by 300,000 Americans of Irish descent The petition urges Congress to make representations to England to ena tnc partition of Ireland.
