COLLIER REPORTS LEAK: TEMPORARY REPAIRS
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 12. Wireless advice that a leak had developed in the hull of the collier Kartigi on a voyage from Westport to Auckland was received yesterday by the Union Company’s Auckland office. Temporary repairs have been made and the steamer will arrive here on Sunday morning. Her crew will be paid off and the vessel withdrawn to enable repairs to be made.
