BIRTHDAY GEETINGS TO KING GEORGE

(P.A.) AUCKLAND. June 7.

On the occasion of the official observance of the King's Birthday the Gov-ernor-General. Sir Bernard Freyberg, sent the following cablegram to His Majesty:— “On this day set aside for the observance of Your Majesty’s birthday in this Dominion I beg with humble duty to tender to Your Majesty on behalf of the Government and peoples of New Zealand, its island territories and Western Samoa :nost loyal and respectful congratulations and good wishes, and an assurance of their devotion to Your Majesty's Throne and person.”
