COMMUNIST ADDRESS TO RAILWAY WORKERS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 7. “The ‘iron curtain’ has been talked of quite a lot by Mr. Semple,” said the delegate from the Australian Communists, Mr. C. Jones, at a Communist meeting in the Trades Hall last night “Now he has thrown one of his own around the Hutt railway workshops.” Mr. Jones was commenting on the Government's decision prohibiting him from giving an address inside the workshops. The speaker added that his hearers need not worry as "we will still be speaking to workers of the Hutt railway workshops on Tuesday.”
