BIG INCREASE IN EXPORTS TO N.Z. BY AUSTRALIA
(10 a.m.) CANBERRA, June 3 In 10 months to last April Australia's trade figures surpassed the previous highest totals for a full year. Total exports for the 10 montus were £325,704,000 against the record completed year of £309,000,000. Total imports for the 10 months were £276,947.000 compared with the previous annual record of £244,600,000. Exports to New Zealand for the 10 months were £l3 027,000 compared with £10.507.000 for the same period of the previous year. Imports from New Zealand for the 10 months totalled £3,704,000 compared with £3,649.000 for the same preiod of the previous year. Australia’s dollar deficit for the 10 months amounted to 135,000,1-00 do’lars.
