DANISH SHIP HITS ICEBERG
NEW YORK, June 6
The 7000-ton Danish steamer Nevada struck an iceburg today. 30 miles north-east of St. John’s, Newfoundland. The Nevada sent a radio message saying she is proceeding to St. John’s under her own steam.
