RED CROSS LEADER REPORTED BEATEN
(10 a.m.) GENEVA, May 25. M. Paul Rttcgger, president of the international committee of the Red Cross, has left Geneva for the Middle East “because of the alarming news published about the situation of the Red Cross delegation in Palestine and the fact that all liaison has been cut off.’’ It Is reported that on May 23 the Arabs dragged the head of the Red Cross delegation in Palestine, M. Jacques de Reynier, from his car, undressed and beat him.
