NEW TROTTING CLUB

At an enthusiastic meeting this week it was decided to form a trotting club in Tauranga, to be known .as the Bay of Plenty Trotting Club. Keen interest was displayed in the proposal, and it was announced that 08 members haa enrolled as a result of the initial meeting. . . A temporary committee was appointed to draft rules and regulations to be presented at a later general meeting, which, it was stated, would be attended by several members of the executive of the Auckland Trotting Owners, Trainers and Breeders’ Association, who were primarily responsible for the movement to form a club at Tauranga.
