N.Z. PACERS IN PERTH
PERTH. May 12. The form in trials of the New Zealand pacer Traverse, by Jack Potts from Regal Voyage, suggests that he will soon add to the imposing record established by Dominion pacers in Perth. Trotting followers are keenly awaiting his appearance in races at Gloucester Park. Another forme’ New Zealander, Parshall ,b.y Ringtrue from Coal Light, has opened his Perth account by winning a race, one mile and a-half, recording a mile rate of 2.11. Parshall had previously in Perth totted ud a disheartening string of minor placings through failure to sec his races through.
