Q'LAND FOOD GROWING SYDNEY, May 10. Great 70-ft. swathes will be ploughed in a single sweep when the joint Bri-tish-Queensland food-growing scheme gels under way soon in Central Queensland. Large tractors will be used to haul five disc ploughs abreast. Peak Downs, a sheep property near Cupeila, is to be the site of the beginning of the largest single agricultural undertaking yet tried in Queensland. Peak Downs will be ploughed at the rate of 4000 to 5000 acres a month, if weather permits, to enable planting of 25,000 acres under sorghum toward the end of this year. The grain will be used to feed pigs to provide extra meat v for shipment to Britain,
