OPENING ON JUNE 22

PARLIAMENTARY SESSION (P.A.) WELLINGTON. May 14. Parliament is to meet for this year's session on Tuesday, June 22. This was announced by the Prime Minister, Mr. P. Fraser, at the conclusion of a Cabinet meeting last evening. The session, which will be the second of the twenty-eighth Parliament of New Zealand, will be opened by the Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg. It is expected that tributes to deceased legislators will be taken the day after the opening. This will leave several days before June 30 in which to pass the Imprest Supply Bill and to discuss and ratify, il considered desirable, the trade agreements arising out of the conferences at Geneva and Havana,
