8 AIRMEN KILLED

R.A.F. BOMBER CRASHES (10.10 a.m.) MARSEILLES, April 30. Eight airmen were killed when an R.A.F. plane crashed in a heavy rainstorm at Verquieres, near Marseilles. Villagers said the plane flew very low and then suddenly plunged to earth. A London message says the plane is believed to have been a Lincoln heavy bomber.
