AUCKLAND RUMOURS
TRADES COUNCIL AFFAIRS (P.A.) AUCKLAND. May 1. Owing to rumours regarding the affairs of the Auckland Trades Council the new secretary. Mr. H. S. Gallagher, issued a statement saying that since the disappearance of the late secretary the books taken over by him are now being audited. A report would be made to the council. “Meanwhile, only one person is in a position to know the true state of affairs,” he added.
