GAMING OFFENCE
“BOOKIE” FINED £2OO (P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 28. Having taken bets amounting to £-1617 on four days this month, Arthur John Garforth, aged 33, fruiter, was fined £2OO in the Police Court for bookmaking The police said he had been twice previously convicted for gaming offences.
