Importing Puma by Air

An application will be made to the Internal Affairs Department by the Auckland City Council this week for permission to import a young puma from San Diego. It is proposed to brin° the animal, which is required as an exhibit at the Auckland Zoo from America by air. It was stated that, if the application was granted, the puma would be the first exhibit flown to New Zealand for tho Auckland Zoo.
