SERVICES IN BRITAIN

WREATHS ON CENOTAPH (11.30 a.m.) LONDON April 25. Anzac Day commemorative services and parades were held in many places throughout the United Kingdom which have associations and memories of the two Dominions' part in two World Wars. In London at the church of St. Martin’s-in-the-Field a joint Australian and New Zealand service was attended by representatives of all Dominions and the British services and the Government- The historic church was crowded. Mr. W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner read the lesson. The Bishop of Newcastle gave the address and after the service a brief wreath-laving ce’-emonv was held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.
