FIGHT CANCELLED
HOFFMAN-MARR BOUT ( P.A.i AUCKLAND, April 26. As a result of an eye infection which caused his admission to hospital, the professional boxer. Darcy Hoffman, of Dunedin, will be unable to tight .Jackie Marr, of Australia, tonight and the bout has been cancelled. In making .this announcement. Air. Farrell, president of the Auckland Boxing Association, said that no substitute could be found at such short notice. Hoffman's condition last night was satisfactory but it is expected he will be under treatment for several days.
