NINE HORSES FALL

THREE JOCKEYS INJURED BRISBANE MEETING (10 a.m.) BRISBANE, April 26. On a sand track at Albion Park which, officials say, was perfectly in order, nine horses fell, one of which died and three jockeys received injuries serious enough for them to be taken to hospital. In the first race-of the day one horse came down but four fell in each of the two following races. One jockey was thrown 10ft. in the air and others bowled along the course like ninepins. An inquiry will be held.
