CABINET RESIGNS
PHILIPPINES’ REGIME (11 a.m.) MANILA, April 20. The Philippines Cabinet resigned yesterday to give the new President, Senor Elpidio Quirino, a free hand in reshaping the administration. The President said he would not take immediate action on the resignations.
Senor Jose Laurel, the puppet President of the country during the Japanese occupation, today described Senor Quirino as “incompetent.”
