TOO OLD TO MIGRATE
BRITON RETURNS HOME ON WAY TO DOMINION NEW YORK, April 18. Mr. John Plenty, aged 50, an English Eiano tuner, arrived here by air from lOndon en route to New Zealand at 3 p.m. G M.T. and then flew back home again at 9 p.m. G.M.T. Mr. Plenty, who was migrating to New Zealand to take up his trade at Dunedin, had a dizzy spell while the Immigration officers were examining him at La'Guardia Field and immediately decided to take the first plane home. “I realise that I am too old to emigrate,” he said. “That sort of thing is for youngsters. I should have done this 20 years ago.” Mr. Plenty gave the address to which he had intended travelling as “care of Mr. Oliver Pob, Dunedin ”
