DUTCHMEN INSULTED
JOGJAKARTA DELEGATION RECALL BEING CONSIDERED THE HAGUE, April 14. Holland is consulting with the Netherlands East Indies Government whether to recall the Dutch delegation which “met with hostile, insulting demonstrations and assaults” on its arrival on Monday at Jogjakarta. The head of the Netherlands delegation and the deputy-Lieutenant-Governer-General of the Dutch East Indies is reported to have been among a number of persons manhandled outside the Jogjakarta railway station.
