FIRST ROUND LEADERS LONDON, April 13. Low scoring marked the opening of the season’s first professional golf tournament, the £1250 Silver King competition of 72-holes which is being played at Moor Park, Hertfordshire. R. J. Taylor, with 64 in the first round, equalled the course record. Other leaders are. A. G. Beck, 65, A. H. Padgham 65, A. J. Lacey 68, S. L. King, K. Bousfield, E. W. Ward 69, N. von Nida 71, W. Shankland 72, Dai Rees 73.
