..CAPTAIN A. T. NORTON, is at present relieving harbour-master at Gisborne, replacing Captain G. McK. Smart, who is on annual leave. FLIGHT LIEUTENANT W. H W SPENCER, R.A.F., after spending three months’ furlough in Gisborne with his parents, leaves ' today for Auckland. He will sail in the Akaroa on Thursday for England to return to his transport squadron. MR. A. J. NICOL, the chairman, presided over yesterday’s meeting of the Gisborne Harbour Board. Other members present were Messrs. I. j. Quigley, M. J. White, L. Miles, A. A. Fraser, R. D. Dymock, J, Appleton, C. Mills, W. R. Clark, R. C. Murphy, A B. C. Steele, and J T Gordon.
