NEWSPAPER STRIKE

TYPOGRAPHERS WALK OUT COMMUNIST-LED UNION (11 a-m.) ROME, March 22. One thousand daily newspapers throughout Italy and also the largest news agency, Ansa, were strikebound at midnight last night. The Communistcontrolled Union of Typographers came off their jobs for at least 24 hours in support of the printers' demand for a 34 per cent wage increase.
