FORWARD STEP IN T.B. IMMUNISATION

rPHE probable establishment of immunity from tuberculosis infection. for all hospital nurses by the use of a newly-available drug was mentioned by the chairman of the Cook Hospital Board, Mr. J. B. Williams, at yesterday's meeting of the board.

The medical superintendent, Dr. R. J. B. Hall, agreed that the use of the drug would be a forward step in the immunisation of nurses, and undoubtedly would be of interest to all nurses and those contemplating taking up training. The chairman commented that the risk in present conditions was very slight, but that any advance in technique was welcomed.
