HIGH SCHOOL CRICKET

FIRST ELEVENS MEETING VISIT BY NAPIER TEAM The annual match between the first elevens of the Gisborne and Napier High Schools will be played tomorrow and on Friday on the grounds of the Gisborne school. The games usually take place on a home-and-home basis, but the sequence was broken last season when the match to have been held in Napier was abandoned after postponement owing to inclement weather. Gisborne won the last game which was played on the Gisborne wicket.

The Napier players, with Mr. D. Revell as manager, are to arrive by this evening’s express and leave Gisborne by train on Saturday morning. They arc being billeted in homes of boys of the Gisborne school. The teams are:
