SMALL SHEEP ENTRY
MORRINSVILLE MARKET A small number of store sheep remained on a par with late values and a small number of store lambs and breeding ewes remained unchanged at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday. Fat cows did not meet with the usual response and values were slightly easier. Boner and store cows met a slower market and sold at lower values. Prices: — Sheep.—Light fat wethers, 36s 6d; b.f. store lambs, 20s 3d to 22s 3d; small store wethers, 30s 3d; 6-yr. breeding ewes, 21s; 1 shear Southdown rams, ,7gns. Cattle.—Heavy Friesian and Shorthorn cows, £lO 6s to £lO 17s 6d; heavy young'Jersey cows and heifers, £8 5s to £9 3s; medium, £7 to £8; boner cows, £4 to £6 10s; bulls, £4 12s 6d to £7 2s 6d.
