BRITAIN NOT TO ACT
SOVIET '’INTERFERENCE" LONDON, March 10. Britain would not invoke Article 5 of the Anglo-Soviet Alliance in which the contracting Powers pledged themselves to the principle of “noninterference in the affairs of other States.” said the Foreign Secretary. Mr. Ernest Bevin, in the House of Commons today. Mr. H. C. Strauss, K.C. (Conservative) said the recent Russian conduct had violated this clause.
