EASTER TRAVEL
(S.R.) WELLINGTON, March 9. rpHE Railway Department's special -*• arrangements for Easter travel provide for some expansion of the normal services, but are not equal in extent to those available when the coal supply was not so limited.
The acting-Minister of Railways, Mr. F. Hackett, announces that among the augmented services will be daily running from Wednesday, March 24. until Wednesday, March 31, of the Auckland-Taneatua express and the Wellington-Gisborne service.
