A Treasury official said that Mr. Ohifley was prepared to make 7000 dollor.s available for the tour and another 3000 dollars if the team reached the challenge round. '•'he official asked the president of the Lawn Tennis Association council, Sir Norman Brookes, to arrange for the return to Australia as soon as possible of 20,000 dollars of Lawn Tennis Association credits in America.
