RAIN PREVENTS PLAY

SECOND DAY OF TEST flO a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 17. Incessant heavy rain precluded all possibility of play in the second test between Australia' and India yesterday. With two days remaining for play, the game stands: India, first innings 188, Australia, first innings one for 28. An improvement in the weather is tipped for today and, should play be possible, the bowlers will have a great advantage and the game will probably develop into a battle of tactics between the rival captains, Bradman and Amarnath.
