HOSPITAL DOMESTICS.—“It is incor rect to say that claims for a new award for hospital domestic staft has been in the hands of the Arbitration Court since 1946,” said Judge Tyndall in Wellington yesterday referring to a Dargaville Press Association message. The dispute, he said, was not heard by the court until November 25, 1947. It was possible, said His Honour, that a dispute had been created in 1946 when the claims weie presented to the employers, but the court was not responsible for any delays that might arise between that stage and the time a fixture was sought with the court after the necessary documents were filed after Conciliation Council proceedm
