SUBSIDY APPROVED
CANADA'S GOLD OUTPUT (11 a-m,) WASHINGTON, Dec. 12. The international. Monetary Fund announced that it has approved of Canada’s new plan to aid its goldmining industry. The fund also issued a general statement of policy under which it said that each application by a member nation for the privilege of subsidising gold production would be considered on its merits.
