PROGRESS OF THE BILL WASHINGTON, Dec. 11. Despite the six days’ debate and over 50 attempts to amend it, the bill was passed without a change in the amoilnt of the money recommended by the House Foreign Affairs Committee. V The House Bill provides 60,000,000 dollars for China, whereas the Senate authorised the full amount for the three European countries.
