PERMIT TO RACE
SHANNON IN AMERICA NEW YORK, Dec. 11. The stewards of the New York Jockey Club rilled today that Shannon should be granted a permit to race in the ' a United States, but the decision as to " whether he should be registered in the American Stud Book was “held pending.” Shannon is among the 116 candidates / 1 for the 11th running of the 10D.000- ;. dollar Santa Anita Handicap on February 28.
