Fish Plentiful
Phenomenal catches of fish have been made this year by trawlers operating from Napier, according to the manager of a large fishing company in Napier. Reports from other places in both the North and South Islands indicate that catches from most fishing grounds have been exceptional. Usually the Napier trawlers stay out for two days at a time, but with fish so plentiful one-day trips suffice at present.
