31 ACCEPTORS FOUR BALLOTED OUT BIG ROBINSON FIELD (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 13. As the 31 acceptors in the Auckland Cup exceed the safety number at the two-mile , barrier by four, a ballot was conducted, Pola, La Fillette, Black Ace and Foxfabte being J balloted out in that order. However, in the < event of any scratchings before the final payment on December 26, these horses will be j able to compete, Foxfable being the first to ; go back into the field. , Starting stalls will not be used for the ( Auckland Cup unless the field is reduced to 23 or less. ] As there are 68 horses in the Robinson j Handicap, provision has been made for three j divisions. There are 31 two-year-olds in the Nursery , Handicap and the race will be divided if ( there are more than 20 starters. Provision has also been made for two divisions in the Queen’s Plate.
