No Greyhounds at Showgrounds
An application by the Hasting Greyhound Racing Club for the use of the showgrounds for its activities on alternate Sundays until the Autumn Show was declined by the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral t Society. “It would bring disgrace to this society if we allowed sport on the showgrounds on a Sunday.” said Mr. A. M. Robertson, his sentiments being agreed to by other members of the society.
