CINEMA FIRE TRAGEDY

FIVE BURNED TO DEATH (11 a.m.) KINGSTON, Jamaica, Nov. 24. At least five persons were burned to death today when an explosion started a fire in the Gaiety Theatre. The explosion wrecked part of the building, trapping men and women clerks. There were no patrons in the theatre, but it is not known how many employees there were, and the death-roll may be higher. Crowds stood in front of the building and watched helplessly as the victims clawed at the heavy glass doors, which were jammed shut by the explosion,
