REFORMING OF FORCES

(10 a.m.) NEW DELHI. Nov. 12. The British Government has recalled General Sir Claude Auchinleck . from the post of Commander-in-Chief and Supreme Commander of the India and Pakistan Dominion forces. All British officers and other ranks serving at his headquarters will withdraw, from November 30.

It is officially announced that the closing of the headquarters followed a recommendation from General Auchr inleck who said that he and his officers were becoming unable to perform the task of reconstituting the British forces in India into new Pakistan and India forces because of the absence of cooperation between the principal parties-
