Brigades from Hfsix cities fought the fire which was - brought under control after three hours. , _ , Blazing sugar spread the flames to a 'store of barley and other grain, while whisky and rum increased the I intensity of the fire, destroyed 800 tons of sugar, 625 tons of cocoa beans, 1,298,000 small cartons of dried eggs and 370 tons of barley were destroyed, :■ and 1200 bales of wool were damaged.
