Timaru School Memorial Known throughout New Zealand for its musical accomplishments, the Timaru Bovs’ High School will have a permanent cultural home if a memorial proiect sponsored by the old boys association to the 131 former pupils who lost their lives in the Second World War receives the necessary support. The proposed memorial will take the form of a music and art appreciation hall as a complement to the present library. Old boys throughout the Dominion are > being asked to participate. Already nearly £2OOO has been subscribed to a £6OOO undcrtaking.—P.A.
