The Foreign Office announces that SIV William Strang succeeds Sir GilLs/rr Jenkins as joint Permanent ÜB/Orr-'Secretary. Sir William Strang has been political adviser to the Brit* fsh element of the Control Commission’in Germany. Sir Gilmour Jenkins becomes Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport.
