SALE AT RUATORIA
There was a good yarding of station cattle at the Ruatoria stock sale recently, the sale being conducted by Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Limited, and the Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Frozen Meat and Mercantile Company, Limited, in conjunction. _ „ , Competition was keen. Bullocks brought from £ll 2s 6d to £l3 ss; 2-year P.A. steers, from £9 to £9 10s; yearling P.A, and Hereford steers, £6 13s to £8 10s; fat cows, to £ll ss; and springing Jersey heifer 3, from £5 5s to £6 10s.
