THREAT OF CHOLERA CROWDS MOB CLINICS <11.45 a.m.) CAIRO, Sept. 26. Panic-stricken crowds today mobbed glinjcs' throughout Egypt where the country’s supply of anti-cholera vaccine is only enough vaccine for 60,000 persons in the country with a population of 17,000,000. V Urgent appeals have been sent to Britain and the United States and South Africa for supplies. The Government has ordered the laboratories to produce large quantities of anti-cholera serum quickly in an attempt to prevent the disease spreading The Ministry of the Interior has banned this year’s Moslem pilgrimage to Mecca. T&e Ministry of Education has postpaned the opening of schools and the further steps to eombat Phify-five hundred Moslems have already gone to Mecca.
