AN INTERNATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY. In New Zealand, and throughout the world, the Salvation Army is everybody’s friend. Today, the work of the Salvation Army proceeds apace in mission fields overseas—an international responsibility in which the New Zealand Salvation Army is happy to share. At home the Salvation Army is of immense value in the field of social welfare. Much of its work goes on almost 'unnoticed but the “Army’s” reward is in the happiness _ and hope that they give to those in spiritual and material need. You are invited to join with the Salvation Army in supporting their annual Self Denial Appeal. The greater your contribution, the greater will be the work they will be able to do eventually, for the good of the country .2#
