TRIAL IN BURMA

DEATHS ASSASSINATION CHARGE TRIBUNAL ARRANGED RANGOON, Sept. 24. A special tribunal made formal charges of assassinating General Aung San and six Burmese Ministers, also with conspiring to overthrow the Government, against the Myochit Party leader U. Saw and nine others. Ihe trial begins on October 8 at Inscin pnsi n. The president of the tribunal, Kyaw Myint, directed the Government to secure counsel for those, unable to arrange for their own defence. Tiie advocate-general, outlining the case for the prosecution, named four men who bad allegedly entered the Council Chamber and fired the shots which killed Aung San and the Ministers Thev are Tnet EniiL Mating S.e, Yan Gyi Aung, and MaUiig Seiit, Who are members of tl. Saw’s private army. Tiie- advocate-general said the trial would be a prolonged one. as at least 120 Crown witnesses would be heard,
