TARANAKI SUPERIORITY (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 15. The superiority of the Taranaki forwards in the loose was a factor in tho defeat of Hawke’s Bay by five to three in a Rugby match played on Saturday. The ground was heavy and very muddy in parts. Price scored a try for Hawke's Bay, but failed to convert it. Novak scored Taranaki’s try which was converted by Cameron.
