WAR DANGER SEEN
“MUST STOP RUSSIA" (11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 5. “Unless some means are evolved to stop the Russian war machine all the sacrifices made in the past two wars will be in vain,” declared Senator Styles Bridges (Republican, New Hampshire) in an address to 15.000 delegates to a convention of veterans of foreign wars at Cleveland. He added: “Russia has consumed nearly all the gains Hitler acquired and unless some means are evolved to stop her, we will have substituted the Kremlin for the Reichstag, a juggernaut of death for a murderous paperhanger.”
