ELDERLY MAN KILLED
LOG SPLITTING ACCIDENT (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Sept.. 6. Apparently killed by the explosion of a log gun with which he was working. an elderly man employed on Mr. D. K. Ower’s farm. Waipara. was found dead at 11 a.m. yesterday. He was:--Mr Francis Isaac Milligan, aged 69, single. . Mr. Milligan had been splitting logs. An inquest will be opened this morning before the coroner, Mr. R. Ferner. S.M.
